- 19-04-2011: Dr. Mumtaz Haider Naqvi was Martyred after being kidnapped on 28th of March, 2011.
On Tuesday 19th of April, Dr. Syed Mumtaz Naqvi residence of Gulistan Town and Head of Department of Physiology at Bolan Medical College(BMC) was Martyred. Dr. Mumtaz Naqvi was kidnapped on 28th of March 2011 and the kidnapper demanded a huge amount of money.
The family of the martyr handed over a ransom though less than the money demanded by the kidnappers. The Martyr body was thrown at Saryaab Road in the night time and police handed over the body to Nichari Imam Baragah the next morning. The Martyr had one bullet mark on his neck and one on his upper arm.
Large number of people attended the funeral. The body was buried in the Ganj e Shuhdah area of Bahisht e Zainab, Hazara Qabristan. The Soyum of the Martyr will be held at Imambargah e Nichari on Thursday, 21st of April 2011 at 3pm.
- 16-04-2011: Death Anniversary of Shuhdah e Civil hospital was held at Imambargah e Nichari.
On the death anniversary of Shuhada of civil hospital suicide bomb blast on 16 April 2010, a Fateha Khuwani was observed at Nichari Imambargah.
Large number of people came for offering fateha for the martyrs and offered condolences to the family of the martyrs.
On 16 April 2010 terrorists opened fire on Syed Arshad Zaidi on Jinnah road quetta. He embraced Shahadat on the spot, his body was taken to the civil hospital. People gathered in civil hospital on hearing the news. MNA Syed Nasir Ali Shah and other police officials reached the hospital where a suicide bomb blew himself up.
DSP Ghulam Muhammad, DSP Zahir Shah, Hav. Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Hadi and other six people embraced shahadat on the spot while MNA Nasir Shah, his son Hashim, Mehdi and many other people received serve injuries. Syed Hashim and Mehdi are still under treatment.
Syed Hashim received injury in his spinal cord due to which his body from chest to bottom is now paralyzed. Mehdi received injury in his head and still he sometimes became unconscious.
Their families has asked for prayer for their complete recovery.
